Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, your display name, and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Training data you create: your workout days, exercises, sets (weight and reps), dates, and your weight-unit preference.

We do not ask for your real name, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or health data from Apple Health, and the App contains no third-party advertising or analytics tracking SDKs.

How we use your information

We use your information only to provide the App: to authenticate you, to store and sync your training log across your devices, and to keep your account secure. We use your email to identify your account and, if needed, for essential service communication. We do not use your data for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored locally on your device and synced to our cloud backend hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States (region us-east-1). Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections, and passwords are protected using one-way hashing.

Sharing & selling

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We use Amazon Web Services purely as our hosting provider to operate the service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and integrity of the service.

Data retention & account deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from within the App: open the Profile tab and tap “Delete account”. This permanently removes your account and all associated training data from your device and from our servers. You may also email us to request deletion.

Your choices

You can edit your name and unit preference in the App at any time, and you can delete your account to remove your data. To request a copy of your data, contact us at the email below.

Children

IronLog is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport and password hashing to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will reflect changes by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the App.
